Her advice to all the brides-to-be out there? 3 in Playa Paraiso See options By travellers on TripAdvisor in May de 2023 The all-inclusive Iberostar Grand Paraíso on the Riviera Maya is located right on the beachfront and has been designed with adults in mind. Karee was stunner in a beach wedding dress by Maggie Storetto, and she carried a bouquet of pink roses with pink and white lilies. They were able to incorporate a little Mexican flair with a mariachi band, to offset their ‘Beachy Romantic’ color palette of soft pink and aqua. The bride and groom wanted perfect scenery, a beautiful sunset, and a fun celebration on the beach. They chose the Iberostar Paraiso Maya as their all-inclusive wedding venue, and their day went off without a hitch thanks to on-site wedding coordinator Pamela Gonzalez. Iberostar leads with care, taking on +300 new safety measures backed by a Medical Advisory Board. Erik and Karee had been to Mexico three times before, so they agreed that a destination wedding in Cancun was perfect for them, and they never thought twice about it. Untouched beauty, unbeatable accommodations, adults-only experiences and unlimited family fun are what you’ll find with an all-inclusive Iberostar Hotels & Resorts getaway to Mexico, the Dominican Republic or Jamaica. The choice to get married on the beach in Riviera Maya, Mexico, was an easy one. ![]() There, like so many hopeless romantics before him, Erik got down on one knee and asked Karee to marry him. When it came time to make honest woman out of Karee, Erik could think of no better place to propose than Paris! He wooed her with a river cruise up the Seine, complete with champagne, followed by a ride up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. ![]() This bride and groom have terribly itchy feet, and have logged loads of exciting adventures around the world together. So, it seems appropriate that it was on one fateful day at a Brewers game, where they were introduced by mutual friends. They love the Packers and the Brewers, and go to live games, home and away, as much as they can. Karee and Erik are a pair of sports junkies. I had never been to an all-inclusive resort before, but quickly acclimated to having constant open bar, food everywhere I looked, and room service available 24/7.Karee & Erik are Fun In The Sun Weddings’ newest newlyweds! A shared love for sports and travel led to them getting married on the beach in Mexico. Shooting this wedding was like being on vacation with your most awesome friends for 4 days. It was windy our whole stay, so the caribbean was less like a lake and a lot more like the Atlantic under a stiff south breeze. My verdict was that honestly, it felt a lot like the Atlantic but warmer. We were eager to explore and I was super eager to hop in the caribbean. I knew I would feel right at home in Mexico. We arrived at the resort at around 4pm on 9/29, and I was greeted by a pool bar and coatis running everywhere. ![]() It was a little hectic, but it was totally worth it to step off the plane into paradise, and know that we were going to be hanging out with Brittany and Chris and their whole family. Ray and I essentially shot a wedding in New Jersey on 9/28, and hopped a plane for Mexico 12 hours later. I was saddened to hear that Milo wouldn’t be making it to Mexico with us, but I knew that he was there in spirit. I had done their engagement portraits in LBI the summer before (with their adorable dachshund, Milo) and loved them from the second I met them. I had been excited for this wedding since literally January when Brittany asked me to come to Mexico with her and Chris to document their wedding (my answer was obviously a no-brainer yes). It also helps if you’re as awesome to hang out with as Brittany and Chris are. There are many benefits to having a destination wedding – but the biggest one that I can see is that you essentially make your wedding day into an entire week (if you choose). It was not only a ‘perfect day’ but it was truly a perfect week, as well. I don’t even know where to start with this amazing destination wedding at the gorgeous Iberostar Paraiso Lindo in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. ![]()
